Another multi-figure study. There is no attempt to hide that these figures aren’t meant to look..too realistic. I’m tip-toeing on caricature here, surely. But these are studies and I want to explore narrative here, illustrative as it may be. It’s all in preparation for tackling the photo refs I took from my trip to Nigeria. I’m interested in compiling them into a sort of cinematic narrative of their own alongside the trip’s real time documentation. 

No more wasting time. I’m just going to go ahead and dive into these photos I’ve taken and tackle them head on. From each exploration I will slowly work through and build a story, slow and stead. What will translate in the formulation of each work will be the blueprint.
